Do you see an image on my site that you think would look good on your wall?

Let me know which one, and the dimensions you would like, and I will be happy to send it to you for what it costs me. Why do I do this? I’m just pleased that people take pleasure in what I have captured and created.

Prices are very reasonable for canvas gallery wraps. So, for example, easycanvasprints.com has 16 x 20” canvas gallery wraps on sale for under $35, including shipping and tax (as of April 9, 2026). They also offer metal prints, acrylic prints, and framed prints, which are regularly sale priced.

For prints on paper, I can produce both glossy and matte products, again, at minimal cost. (I use an Epson Photo Stylus Pro 3880 printer and professional-quality papers.)

See below for how to proceed.

On Sizing

Keep in mind that the optimal viewing distance from a graphic work (painting, photograph) is 1.5 times the length of the diagonal, that is, the line from one corner to the opposite corner. So for an image 20 x 30”, that line is about 36”, and you want to be standing 36″ x 1.5, or 4.5 feet away. So you probably don’t want to put an image this large in a hallway, where the viewer can’t get far enough back.

An image 8 x 12” would be fine, however: the best viewing distance would be about 21.5”, easily managed in a corridor. The 20 x 30” image, on the other hand, might look great over a sofa in a living room.

Almost always, you want the long dimension to go with the long dimension of the wall. So, for example, over the sofa the image would be in “landscape” orientation, with the long dimension horizontal. For an image on a narrow wall somewhere, you would put a print in “portrait” orientation, with the long dimension vertical.

On Cropping

The dimensions of most of the images you see on my site are 2 x 3, the same as the sensor in the Canon cameras I use. So I can produce prints in any size with these dimensions – 8 x 12”, 16 x 24”, etc. If you want other sizes – 8 x 10”, 11 x 14”, 13 x 19”, 16 x 20”, etc. – realize that the image will have to cropped. (Cropping is reducing the size of the image in one of the two dimensions: height or width.) I can make cropping suggestions and you can approve what you like.

Ready to Proceed?

Let me know

  • which image you have in mind
  • the size of print you want
  • what medium you are looking for (paper, canvas gallery wrap, metal, acrylic)

I’ll quote you a price (which is what I would pay the supplier for it, or, in the case of a paper print, the small cost of that paper, the ink, and shipping). After you’ve paid for it, I will have the supplier produce and “drop-ship” the item at the address you specify, or I will mail you the paper print directly.

Got Any Questions? Text or e-mail me, and we can arrange a call if you like.
